Día de los muertos at Wood Hill

Each class of seventh grade Spanish students at Wood Hill took responsibility for writing one of four Spanish scenes associated with the holiday: a bustling market, a home with an ofrenda that comes to life, a street scene including a parade, and a very lively cemetery.
“Aplausos” for Mrs. Murray, our music teacher, who worked with them to add theatrical dimensions with music, dance, props, special effects, etc.  The culminating event on November 3, completely in Spanish, was viewed by Andover community members, administrators, teachers, families, High Plain and WHM students!
Muchas gracias to the WHM PAC who generously supported the celebration with a grant and to all those who joined us for the student presentation!
